My pronouns are
I am professor at Technological University Dublin
I am professor at TU Dublin, working in our new campus in Grangegorman. I am also leading the Photonics Research Centre where we study how light propagates though different materials and structures and how this can be used for sensing of different parameters, for example, temperature, strain, humidity or even the presence of chemicals, bacteria or viruses.
My Typical Day
I get up and go for a run in the park, then have breakfast and go to work, where I have lectures, tutorials and labs with my undergraduate students. When I am not teaching I spend time in my lab doing experiments with my PhD students.
