It can be very challenging, but it’s very rewarding. It takes a lot of determination and dedication to see a research project through, but it is a blast getting to the end!

You get to be creative and design your own project and collaborate with teams of scientists on discovering something novel.
You get to write proposals for funding to secure your unique ideas.
You get to travel to present your work in locations around the world and gain insight beyond the local scenario. You might also meet some famous scientists.
You get to be in outreach programs where we can interact with the community, much like this one.
All-in-all, you gain wicked skills that are technical and non-technical.

It is amazing, it is great to see results after all the work being part of a big group. You are just a piece of a big puzzle but every piece is essential for a common objective!
