I am the only scientist in my family and the first to go to college. My Dad is a carpenter and working with him taught me how to be precise in measurements and “measure twice and cut once”!

Not at all! My father worked in the administration for the government, my mother worked as a librarian, my grandparents worked as farmers, dentists and journalists. I am the first scientist in my family.
