Question: what do you like about chemistry?

I enjoy chemistry in that it has real life applications and is not just confined to the lab.

For example, I know why you may get a little sachet in the pocket of an item of clothing you buy that says ‘do not eat. Dispose of immediately’
In that sachet is silica gel, which is a drying agent, and we use it very often in the lab ourselves. It removes moisture which might destroy your new clothes if stored in a damp place. There are plenty of examples better than this one 😀
