Because science was bringing answers to my questions and I could even know more about things that I am passionate about.

I just really liked science! I knew I wanted to work in research, and while the kind of research I thought I would do has changed, my passion for science and learning hasn’t.

It was the most logical option to the next step in my academic journey. I liked the concept of research when I first experienced it in my Masters. So, I gave it a shot. It was worth it.

I was always interested in how things work and I wanted to figure out how they worked or why do they exist or why do we need them. In school I found that science can help me to answer questions I had so I decided to become a scientist.

You can want to be a lot of things but you have to decide for one thing at a point. I decided for science because I have tried it and liked it a lot.
